Culinary Director – Tom Sellers
At 16, Tom Sellers first discovered his love of cooking. Pursuing this passion as he matured, Tom trained under some of the world’s greatest chefs in his early career. These included three-star chef, Thomas Keller (The French Laundry and Per Se), two-star chef, Tom Aikens (Tom Aikens Restaurant) and two-star chef, Rene Redzepi (Noma, voted ‘Best Restaurant in the World’ by Restaurant Magazine in 4 separate years).
In 2013, Tom opened “Restaurant Story” at the age of 26. He received his first Michelin star just 5 months later. Since then he has been awarded numerous accolades, including ‘Breakthrough Chef of the Year’ from the Food and Travel Awards, ‘No 1 Best Restaurant’ from Open Table Diners, and 5 AA Rosettes. Tom’s premier venue now sits at no.14 in The Sunday Times list of the Top 100 UK Restaurants.
In late 2014 Tom opened his second restaurant ”The Lickfold Inn”, a much loved pub in West Sussex, which in its first year was awarded 3 AA Rosettes and has since joined The Sunday Times Top 100 Restaurants list at no. 97. Still In his 20’s, Time Out recently said of Tom, “[He] is the young chef set to make this city sizzle.”
